GOLDEN PRODUCTION, INC. - NEWSBy Angelina RomanusMeeting Donovan McNabb at Superbowl 2012Lady Susan and Mrs. Indiana America 2010 (Jeanene Christy), stopped in the downtown Indianapolis restaurant Palomino’s for lunch and met with Donovan Jamal McNabb. Among all the many activities at the superbowl, it was a great privilege to meet a very down to earth quarterback. Donovan McNabb was born on November 25, 1976. He is an American football quarterback and is currently a free agent. McNabb is a six-time Pro Bowl quarterback, former NFC player of the year (in 2004) and member of the Philadelphia Eagles' 75th anniversary team. He was the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback from 1999 to 2009 and spent the 2010 season with the Washington Redskins and a portion of the 2011 season with the Minnesota Vikings. The Eagles selected him as the second overall pick of the 1999 NFL Draft. McNabb led the Eagles to four consecutive NFC East division championships (2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004), five NFC Championship Games (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2008), and one Super Bowl (Super Bowl XXXIX, in which the Eagles were defeated by the New England Patriots). Perhaps his most memorable play has become known as "4th and 26", which took place against the Green Bay Packers in the final minutes of a 2003 NFC Divisional playoff game. He is the Eagles' all-time leader in career wins, pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. Donovan was enshrined into the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame on Friday Jan 27, 2012.
